I would like to thank all of are paid members for coming to our April 26th meeting of the TWRC. We paid for 350 members dinner. 266 members paid there membership fees. 84 people showed up between 9:15 am and 9:30 am and didn't pay dues. We asked them to register but they didn't move from the tables. They were told by someone that if they showed up early they would not have to join the club and could have a free meal. We are on the honor system. These people have cost the club $1,517.25 and a lost of our meeting in August.
I hope they enjoyed the meal !

you have to stop going by the honor system ,that never works ,after you pay dues give people a card that says paid or ask for a name at the door...as always a few spoil things for the rest....have these few lost their minds already....no next time have everyone check there name at the door....

Hello brothers ans sisters. I know to think that an adult would do that for a meal, must need it more than we do. I feel bad for them. Maybe if we use some honey, we can get them to join. I'm sure they had a good time. In all the senior clubs in the Boston area, you must be a card carrying member. We should be also. The lines to enter a meeting will move faster as well. Anyone sneaking into any of our meetings will be shot! God Bless

Hey does anyone knows who that gray head man is that stands at
the side door with his arm cross. He may be management and why is he there at every meeting I know he is not a commmittee member. Has anybody question him why he there. He looks shaded to me.

Is he a reitired paying member? If not why is he there and why is he eating our food.
Did we not give money to cope last year. Is he looking for more money?
You told us that these meeting were not politicly motived that why most of us joined. I think you should ask him to leave if he is not a retired paid member our club doesn't need a watch dog from cope !!!!!!

i talked to Paul and Maryann about your request we will bring this
to all the board members to see what we can do. Please don't get to upset. I don't think he means to be a watchdog. We will look at our bylaws. Keep in mind that locall 2222 gave us $150.00 to start the club up.

they were there before board members got there. i was late and ask them to get in line but they didn't move and i was busy setting up to take members names at door. I didn't know that they didnot get into line until the meeting was over and the count was made.
remember the meeting starts at 10:30am we get there to set up at 9:45am they were all ready there. 2 boardmember came in at 9:15am
but I had the list and was late I got there at 10:00am and ask them to get in line

I agree with cathy we don't need watchdogs from cope or from anyone I like the way thing are. You at the twrc always keep us informed and allow us to make our own rule with a vote.

This blog is a great idea. I've read what everyone has been saying
I also think an ID card is a good way to go. I was at the last meeting. Paul the banner looked great and like how you put the banner on the web site --- good job !
I have to put my two cent in on that cope guy. He should pay attention to his own club meetings instead of ours.
Everyone should go on the blog two vote him out.

i dont think pj foley or cope is the major problem after all it was 84 people who did not pay and i reckon most of them were RETIREES we need to have annual retire cards .
